IN SUMMER they are an excellent starting point for easy walks for children and grandparents, medium-difficulty hikes to the refuges and more difficult vie ferrate and climbs on the Civetta, Pelmo, Bosconero, Mezzodì massifs. These are only the nearest peaks: using your car, you can easily reach the Marmolada, the Tofane in Cortina and many other destinations in the Dolomites.
